Menelik Medards is a character in Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf. He is the grandfather of Ambessa Medarda, Katye Medarda, and Ta'Fik Medarda. He was the former patriarch of House Medarda, and Warlord of Noxus.
Biography[]
Adulthood[]
Menelik personally trained and taught Ambessa the ways of war. He would also train her in fights.
Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf[]
While injured, people of House Medarda came from all over the nation to see him. Ambessa, Katye, Kino, Mel, Lisabetya, Rictus, and Ta'fik were there as well. Ambessa is asked to attend him in his chambers, where he and her talk about the future of the Medarda clan while she shaves his stubble. Menelik claims he has had a vision— a vision that contained a wolf. He says to Ambessa that the Medarda clan will fall without a strong leader, to which Ambessa tells him there are many strong Medardas.

Menelik is much like his granddaughter Ambessa. He is bold, ambitious, and straight-to-the-point. He is strong and has the respect of his household and nation.

Menelik has dark skin and greying hair. He always has a clean-shaven face[1].
