Biography[]
Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf[]
As Ambessa lays dying on the battlefield in Rokrund, Kindred disguised as a Wolf appears to her. They send her to Volrachnun, the afterlife for powerful warriors. Kindred shows her various images, containing scenes of people dancing, warriors battling, until it settles on a throne. Ambessa begins to walk towards it until Kindred stops her. They claim that she must complete their trials first, and Ambessa obliges. The first trial is a battle against a warrior named Shield. She struggles at first to fight but eventually wins. Kindred then presents her with the next trial, one where she must give something that is a part of her up in the form of a golden lamb. Ambessa is torn at this but eventually releases the lamb in agony. For passing the trials, Kindred returns Ambessa's spirit to her body and disappears.[1]
