I believe @/ArcaneShow on Instagram or another account showed concept art of how darker season 2 was gonna be.

We were gonna get bits like seeing Jinx light up the Slico's full hide out, more of Jinx in Stillwater and also we were gonna see Jayce beat up Viktor (like lots of blood)

I think that it was Silco's soul or ghost or whatever you want to call it who was able to temporarily force his way back into the living world to give Jinx advice.
